My journey into real estate began in 2010 during the construction of our first dream home in Madisonville, where I stepped into the role of general contractor. That hands-on experience gave me a deep understanding of homes from the inside out and sparked a passion for the industry that continues to shape my work today. With a lifelong love for interior design, real estate became the perfect blend of strategy and creativity.
Over the years, that combination has led to multiple successful projects, including the renovation and sale of our first investment property in Ponchatoula in 2018, the development of Cure Estates in Madisonville in 2023, and a full-scale remodel completed in Covington in 2025. Today, I extend this expertise to clients through J Cure Interior Designs, offering design insight, staging guidance, and renovation vision that help sellers maximize value and buyers confidently see a home’s full potential.
Through the end of 2025, The Mixon Team has proudly served 484 families, representing over $109 million in closed real estate sales. Our team consistently ranks among the Top 1% in our Market Center, reflecting a commitment to precision, professionalism, and client-first service.
